We warmly welcome you to Effective Life Ministry, which is the itinerant ministry of Pastor Matthew Guest. He is also the Founder and Pastor of Effective Life Church here in the UK. While you are here, we hope that you catch the vision and heart of what we are all about, which is seeing the love of God work effectively in the lives of His people, His church and in the local and wider communities.
We also hope that as you explore the website, you will be deeply blessed and inspired by the photos, videos, and testimonies. God has done some truly incredible and miraculous things and we hope that this is reflected greatly through the website.
Matthew, along with his wife, Mara, and his eldest son, Luke, have a desire to see the body of Christ equipped and become effective in today's world. We aim to show how God can use our lives for His Kingdom and His Glory. We don't just want God to be effective in our lives, but we want God to be effective in the area in which God has placed us and in the lives of those around us as well. God's everlasting love stretches far beyond the four walls of our lives - and further into the community - and it's up to each of us to share the love of God.

Pastor Matthew has been preaching and teaching from the Word of God for over 30 years. From preaching at Nelson's Column in the heart of England, to a Maximum Security Prison in Ghana, Pastor Matthew's passion to spread the Gospel, reach the lost, and equip the church has taken him all around the world by God's grace.
